RBIS is pleased to offer a formal scholarship scheme which provides opportunities for outstanding students through financial assistance.Recipients of scholarships will need to maintain high academic standards and show excellent personal qualities throughout their time at RBIS.

RBIS is pleased to offer a formal scholarship scheme which provides opportunities for students who excel in academics, creative / performing arts and sport through financial assistance. Successful applicants will benefit from our outstanding teaching, small class sizes and a focus on individual support and guidance. The scholarship will enable students to reach their academic potential while developing their character and compassion for others. All applicants must have strong academic records with an eagerness to learn and succeed. Recipients of scholarships will need to maintain high academic standards and show excellent personal qualities throughout their time at RBIS.

Who can apply?

There are a limited number of scholarships are available for students in the following age ranges

Ages 8-11 Key Stage 2

Ages 11-14 Key Stage 3

Ages 15-16 IGCSE ( External Examination)

16 Years + A levels and BTEC Courses (External Examination

Thai and international students who are proficient in English may apply. Applicants need to demonstrate exceptional ability and are expected to achieve above average scores in the Cognitive Ability Tests  CEM ( Durham University) and/or CAT 4.RBIS Academic Scholars will be hard working, responsible and ready to take a full, active part in school life.

Selection Criteria

A student may be considered for an academic scholarship if they achieve outstanding results in assessment tests administered by RBIS

    • Successful completion of assessment tests set by the school
    • Outstanding academic reports from their current school
    • Applicants must be able to demonstrate a high level of commitment to study at interview
    • Applicants must be able to communicate effectively in English
    • Non-Academic Scholarship  candidates will need to present evidence of high achievement in Creative / Performing Arts or Sport. These scholarships are only awarded to students 14 years+

 

 

A successful applicant will receive a discount in tuition up to 50% based on RBIS assessment, previous academic records, personal interview and audition and or evidence of sporting achievement.
