Eating out is the norm - Bangkok has more restaurants than any other city in the world and that doesn’t include the hundreds of thousands of street vendors.
LANGUAGE
Language in Thailand can very challenging for non-native speakers due to the tonal nature of words - depending on the tone, the exact same word can mean something different. Generally, most Thais don’t speak English unless you are in a tourist resort so you may need some help initially.
INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS
This leads almost all expats to look at international schools in and around Bangkok. The market is well served with over 70 schools including 38 British schools, 21 American and 23 International Baccalaureate. As with a lot of things in Bangkok, the costs are also lower than other parts of the world. Fees range from $5,000 a year through to $30,000 at the high end schools. This compares well with other parts of Asia and also Europe.
Schools are located all around Bangkok but keep in mind traffic can be pretty intense at those key times that you will be sending your kids to school and picking them up. So a school near to where you live is going to be a good idea!
